Globular Star Cluster M22

M22 - Globular Star Cluster in Sagittarious


At a distance of some 10,000 light-years, the Globular Cluster M22 is just barely visible to the unaided eye as a very small fuzzy spot of light. Through a large telescope, it is a dazzling collection of nearly a million stars.
