Solar Prominences over a 30 minute period & The Total Solar Eclipse of 1994


The Sun is tied directly to life on Earth; constant, yet constantly changing; a part of nature that even modern science struggles to comprehend. Our observatory is equipped with special H-alpha filter for viewing the surface of the sun and over our many years of observation we have been fascinated by what we have been able to see.
